VOX is always busy planning events. Although our schedule can change every now and then, these events are the consistent ones. Here's to another successful event-filled year!

Safe Sex Week is when VOX plans a whole week of events to promote - you guessed it - safe sex. Typical events during Safe Sex Week involve movie nights (where we have watched movies/documentaries such as Iron-Jawed Angels, Wrestling Manhood, and The Education of Shelby Knox), club crawls (where we head out to a bar or club in Orlando and pass out condoms and safe sex information), and the usual tabling but with a fun spin. Often we'll break out the fun Wheel of Fornication and quiz passer-bys about various aspects of reproductive health. C'mon, sir or madam, how well do you know a vulva? 

Safe Sex Week usually takes place in mid-September. 

Planned Parenthood offers health services for all communities - and that includes the GLBTQ! Whenever the Come Out With Pride Orlando event comes around, Planned Parenthood of Greater Orlando shows up at Lake Eola to give its support. Before the parade, we'll table while handing out safe sex facts and condoms. Then, during the parade, PPGO and VOX get to march proudly and show off our rainbows! With signs, banners, and candy, we let Orlando know that we're out and about to help everyone! 

Orlando Pride usually takes place in October. 

Get your free goodie bags at our table! For Halloween, it really is trick or treat. Our goodie bags have candy as well as slips of paper with scary STI facts. Just to make sure your partner and you are covered, we put in a few condoms as well. We wouldn't want you to have a truly frightening Halloween! 


On Valentine's Day, we take a different route. Love is in the air - and lust can be too! If you plan on having an intimate Valentine's Day with your loved one, VOX wants to let you know that we are there. Well, not physically. But we do pass out goodie bags with candy hearts, condoms, lube, and other fun goods to make sure you both have a great time on such a lovely day. Besides, Valentine's Day always falls squarely on National Condom Week. We'd be celebrating in some way, anyway, y'know? 

Goodie bags are passed out during tabling on the Wednesday before holiday. 

Before you ask, yes, the event's name does come from the Salt N Pepa song. This event is VOX's largest event of the year. We host a wonderful benefit party where we raffle off the finest of gift baskets, sex toys, and chocolate penises and vulvas. Oh, we often raffle other prizes such as books, comedy tickets, soaps, and restaurant gift cards as well. But we don't stop at just raffles. We also have party games! The party-goers love the infamous condom banana race and the fake orgasm contest. We, the Voxers, are particularly partial towards our good ol' Wheel of Fornication which gets another spin at this event. We are also indebted to Fairvilla who kindly lend us several vibrators and a racing board for the Vibrator-Racing challenge. Add music, dancing, and (if you are of legal age) drinks to this mixture of madness, you are guaranteed to have a great time!

LTASB event usually takes place sometime in March.
